Activities expanded into imports, exports and additional petroleum products, strengthening international sourcing, supply and cross-border trade capabilities.

A 300 TPD Industrial Fuel Oil Manufacturing Operation was established in the Industrial Hub of Sanand, Gujarat located at Natraj Industrial Estate, marking the transition into large-scale industrial manufacturing and operations.
In 1989, commercial activities expanded to Ahmedabad through a warehouse at Tirupati Industrial Estate, Narol, establishing an important chapter in SIPL’s industrial heritage and positioning the enterprise within the city’s rapidly developing manufacturing economy.
In the Mid 1970s, the enterprise’s commercial heritage expanded into the energy sector through an HPCL petrol pump at Limdi, Surendranagar, Gujarat, building early experience in fuel distribution, retail operations and regional commerce.
