High Cloud Point Glycol (HC, up to approximately 95 °C) stays soluble to higher temperatures, so its shale-sealing action activates in hot, high-salinity systems — the specification for HPHT wells, saturated-salt muds and deep or sub-salt sections. It supports high-temperature shale stabilisation and filtration control where lower cloud-point grades would cloud out too early. SIPL supplies the HC grade in 208 L drums and IBCs, cloud point quoted against stated test conditions.
