Lauric-chain soaps and surfactants lather instantly and rinse clean — the reason coconut and palm kernel derivatives rule the cleansing world. PKFAD delivers that chemistry at byproduct economics: soapers blend it for foam without premium-oil cost, and oleochemical splitters distil it toward lauric and myristic acids feeding the vast sulfate-surfactant chain. The distillate is smaller in tonnage than PFAD but sharper in purpose — bought for its chain profile, not just its FFA.
